trauma informed care | a BIPOC healer's guide to trauma, its impact, and how to hold trauma informed spaces. created with love for BIPOC healers and organizations, it is a sacred pause + unlearning + accountability ritual
the course explores types of trauma, holistic impact, neurobiology of trauma, core trauma informed principles, & more!
to ground your healing practice in trauma informed care is to acknowledge that most people you are working with have directly/indirectly had at least one traumatic experience; that they bring with them, into the healing spaces, these traumas, that they house them in their bodies, that they are vulnerable — and that we owe it to them to do our work so we minimize causing further harm.
BIPOC healers will be able to thoughtfully integrate trauma informed principles into healing practices/businesses from first client contact to rendering of service upon completion of this training
